As my class and I get ready to do the MO-110 Word Certification exam, we are looking back at our performance during phase 1 of IS101-3003. I did decently well during Phase 1 of IS101-3003 however, allocating extra time to completing the work will help my success.
A topic that particularly stood out to me was 4.11.1, Headers and Footers. Thanks to this I found greater efficiency in formatting my headers and knowing how to properly manage the text properties of said headings and footings.
As for my big milestone, the MO-110 Word Certification exam I prepared completing the prerequisites, they are incredibly informative. All this in mind I am also looking forward heading into spring and having the weather change.
Hi Rafa, I agree with you about needing to allocate more time for the work. Sometimes the challenge in this class is not really the difficulty of the tools, but just making sure we give ourselves enough time to practice them. If we rush through everything, it’s easy to miss small details.
ReplyDeleteHeaders and footers are actually very useful, especially in professional settings. In our office we are required to use footers and headers for documents. You wouldn’t believe how many times I see coworkers paste the company logo and address directly into the body of the document instead of the header. Then when they copy and paste things around, everything gets messy or lost. That’s exactly the reason headers exist, so the logo, address, and phone numbers stay consistent on every page like a proper letterhead. Once you understand that feature, it really makes documents look cleaner and much more organized.
Yes, allocating more time to IS101 will help you perform even better in Phase 2 :-)
ReplyDeleteGood job on joining your classmates on conquering the MO-110 Word exam, Rafa!
I echo Kevin's sentiment that headers and footers are very useful in professional settings ^_^
